.NET Full Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid/Multiple Locations) – Perm - $100,000-$125,000

Our Client is seeking a .NET Full Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid) in Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Marietta, GA.

Role Description

As the Senior Engineer, Software Engineering, you’ll be responsible for developing various Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), participating in design reviews and working with the quality assurance team to assess reported defects from testing. • Develop web, web services and back-office applications using the Microsoft and open source stack of technologies, including C#, .NET Core, AngularJS, Kafka, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch
• Develop code for defects and enhancements to the Transport Pricing systems; understand the functionality and configuration of the systems that are being supported
• Perform unit testing with documented test cases and results
• Participate in the review and analyses of business requirements, functional specifications and design documents; participate in project post-mortem facilitation
• Provide input on information technology tools, application upgrades and architectural design
• Actively participate in continuous process improvement efforts

Skills & Requirements

• 4 years or more years of experience in software development, in medium to large systems environments
• 2 years experience coding in C# (.NET CORE required); using SQL on the back end
• Please note, if they only have .net (windows space or building services) that is not the right background
• MUST have strong understanding of REST API design principles (question: can you design a REST API?)
• MUST have unit testing and must have the ability to write clean code
• ASP.NET- they must have ASP.NET experience
•Rest APIs- they must experience with Rest API's. They will be asked about this during the interview.
• Microservices- they must have experience with this. They will be asked about this during the interview and need to be able to speak to it.
• Experience with Angular - doesn’t matter which version, as long as they have it
• Strong knowledge of and experience with the software development life cycle and Agile process
• They MUST have experience working with off-shore teams.
• Should be somewhat flexible with your schedule considering initially the off-shore team will be transitioning work to them. Depending on the time zone they may start their day at 7AM EST (only working an 8 hour day) unless there is a production issue which of course would require their attention.
