Lead Building Engineer (Non Union)

Lead Building Engineer (non union) wanted for a unique property based just outside of downtown Chicago.

Hays are partnered exclusively with a well established firm who are looking to hire an experienced Building Engineer for a unique property based just north of downtown Chicago.

Your new role
As Lead Building Engineer you will be responsible for directing maintenance services; providing information and serving as the main contact for the Building. You will support all facets of building operations, from HVAC, plumbing and electrical to mechanical maintenance. You will report directly to the Director of Operations and will supervise 2-3 staff.

What you'll need to succeed
To apply you will need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Building Engineer or Facilities Engineer. You will have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems with a certification or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC installation, service and maintenance. A working knowledge of multiple Building Automation Systems is required with experience working with Alteron to applicants advantage.
