QCM / Quality Control Manager required for Federal project near Jacksonville, FL. Must have USACE / NAVFAC

This national construction company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for a permanent job near Jacksonville, FL. This organization works on a high volume of Federal projects, throughout the US and Southeast. At present, their needs are for projects near Jacksonville, but long-term this role may require travel outside of the Jacksonville area.

Your new role

As Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for jobsite quality in adherence to the agreed contracts between this GC and the project owners. Day to day responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
  • Managing the QC / QA plan
  • Submittals preparation and contractor reviews
  • Ensuring the project is being constructed according to design and agreed contracts
  • Daily and weekly reporting; holding required meetings
  • Notifying correct stakeholders, if necessary, of non-compliance to project plans

Projects will vary from smaller renovations / repairs, up to multi-million dollar ground-ups.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of four years’ dedicated experience as a QCM / Quality Control Manager. The ideal candidate will also have a Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture- but this is not a requirement. You must have previous USACE or NAVFAC construction project experience.

What you'll get in return

The successful QCM / Quality Control Manager will be offered a permanent role, a truck allowance, and benefits to include health and 401k. The successful candidate’s base salary will be dependent on their experience, but likely fall in the range of $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
