Desktop Support Engineer – Contract – Oakland, CA - $20.00-$27.00/hr

Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Oakland, CA.

Role Description

Desk Side Support is expected to manage all the EUC (End User Computing) activities. Such tickets will be passed on to the End User Computing team by the Service Desk team.

Client is looking for outgoing personalities willing to help end users as well as train and guide. A member of the Tech Bar Team you will be the face of IT to all users.

Skills & Requirements

• Lenovo Desktop, Laptop, and Accessories troubleshooting and repair. Imaging and deployment including customer interactions
• Deploying build images and software’s using SCCM and Intune to Laptops and Desktops.
• Assist End Uses with Autopilot deployment
• Supporting and interacting with end users, including moves, transfers, new hires, etc.
• Conference Room AV Equipment maintenance and interactive support
• Inventory Management including disposal and intake, Commissioning and decommissioning of assets
• Windows and MAC skill required
• Mobile Device support on both Android and Apple devices
• Application and database installation / troubleshooting
• MS Teams Troubleshooting
• RDP for remote control
• Active Directory
• Conference Room AV Equipment t/s and support.
• SCCM for user lookup, tracking devices, machine information lookup
• Familiar with End Point Management
• Network Equipment and Server hands and feet support
• EUC support at the meeting rooms may required for VIP meetings .
