Our client is a nationwide heavy civil contractors who operate in the marine construction market across both private and public clients. They self-perform all of their work and specialize in earthwork, underground utilities and pile driving. They work on projects ranging from $500K up to $100Mill. They have been in the market for over 20 years and have an excellent reputation and strong pipeline of work.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project costing, safety, scheduling, budget and overall management of the day to day operations of the site. You will work with the pre-construction team on bids and will then be responsible for the management of the project till completion. You will be required to communicate with sub-trades, consultants, engineers and client representatives.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you possess a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry and hold either a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree. You will come from a heavy civil background and have experience on working on utility highway, bridge or concrete projects. You will also possess excellent leadership qualities and are able to lead on any given project or task.
