An Entertainment Company is seeking a Sr. Product Manager in Glendale, CA.

Role Description

The Sr. Product Manager will develop a productive partnership with business stakeholders at all levels and support the Manager, Product Development to help guide SaaS products toward the delivery of integrated, efficient, and intuitive business systems.

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain production SaaS applications in support of all our entities. You will partner with the Studio Finance and Studio Production offices along with 3rd party vendors.

• Act as the primary point of contact for the development and support of implementing Start Paperwork on 3rd party vendor software for feature movies
• Conduct demo and training sessions of assigned technologies to end users
• In close partnership with the group leader and business stakeholders, define and develop requirements to further the product vision and strategic product roadmap
• Elicit business requirements, analyze, specify/refine, and validate the requirements with clients to determine minimum viable product (MVP)
• Manage to the MVP and ensure product delivery is in accordance with Business and Technology needs
• Create mockups and communication materials that will help comprehend, illustrate, and translate complex development tasks to differing levels of customers
• Evaluate information from multiple sources and help distinguish user requests from user needs
• Interface with all levels of internal clients and analyze current business and software development processes
• Drive analysis with business by documenting current and “future-state” processes
• Produce written documentation and maintain a document repository
• Develop business analysis deliverables, including but not limited to workflows and process models, business requirements, use cases, and business rules.
• Develop requirements and testing specifications for moderate to complex system enhancements.
• Responsible for effectively managing own time according to agreed-to priorities
• Ability to communicate and present technology concepts and solutions to non- technical business people
• Proven ability to meet customer expectations with a “can do”, “will do” attitude towards work
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for work assignments and role
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and to translate business requirements for technical developers
• Strong partnering skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a business systems analysis and/or product management role with at least 3 years of experience with large scale and complex systems, preferably in the media and entertainment arena
• Process a basic understanding of the film production industry
• Ability to identify risks throughout a project and provide mitigation strategy
• SAAS Product Background
• Production Schedules
• Experience with Casting Crew
• White Glove - Needs to be Very polished
• Experience supporting SAAS Product environment
• 3+ years of direct experience in production/post production/M&E
• 3+ years of Project Management experience on moderately complex projects
• Experience working with solutions from Entertainment Parners, Cast & Crew
• Proficient use of Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, Air table, Confluence, Slack
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Communications, or extensive work experience in related field
