Technical Support Specialist

Technical Support Specialist – Contract – Orlando, FL/Remote - $15.00-$18.00/hr

Our Client is seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Orlando, FL/Remote.

Role Description

Technical Support Specialists are responsible for providing first level technical assistance for Staff, Students, and Education Affiliates who are encountering a variety of technical-related issues as they use their computers, online platforms, and course-related materials. This is an entry level position within a fast-paced call center environment.

• 4 x 10 hour shifts
• Open 7 days a week 8a-3a – must be flexible with shifts
• Candidates will work the later schedules and are eligible to bid on shifts quarterly
• Candidate must be local to the greater Orlando area, to come pick up equipment on their first day but also be able to come in and work onsite for large events or if they issues with home internet

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of the Apple operating system and Apple software
• Familiarity with the Windows operating system and basic functions
• Ability to troubleshoot common computer issues (Internet connectivity, basic computer setup, customization and preferences, software installation, various web browsers, etc.)
