Our client is seeking a Sr. Backend Software Engineer in Remote opportunity.

Role Description

• Analyze and design new features and functions to streamline theend-usersexperience.
• Help establish and document designs andengineeringstandards, as well as participate in peer reviews.
• Work on afull-stackengineeringteam dedicated to following the Agile methodologyand writing maintainable code.
• Work on increasingly more significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires working through ambiguity and all the ideal data may not be available.
• Continually deliver features and functionality tobankstakeholders on a 2-week release cycle.
• Work alongside different departments within the bank and learn theirdomain.
• Design and implement libraries and frameworks that allow us to effectively scale development on our different applications.
• Learn quickly and adapt fast. We are looking for folks to lead the charge, not just keep up with it.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ yearsofhands-on experience working with technologies like AWS, Typescript, Terraform, Serverless Framework, Docker, Open APIs,and SQL/NOSQL databases
• Strong understandingoftheAgile methodology and their role within the scrum process
• Ability to take ownership of complex issues and drivesolutions that benefit the broader organization
• Ability to develop and deploy an application end to end
• Proficient at unit testing, debugging, monitoring, and logging tools for effective troubleshooting of complex issues
• Experience with mentoringother teammembers.
