Job Description: Assistant Project Manager


  • Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for project management? Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the project managers to ensure the successful execution of commercial and industrial construction projects. Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Assist project managers in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project records, track progress, and manage project documentation.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential risks, ensuring project success.
  • Software Utilization: Familiarity with industry-standard software such as ProCore and BlueBeam.
  • Construction Document Literacy: Ability to read and understand construction documents, including project plans and specifications.
  • Team Support: Assist project managers in leading project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in project management or related roles preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and ProCore.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Willingness to learn and contribute to project success.
