Local Client is Actively Hiring a Superintendent with Municipal and Healthcare Experience

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee the construction of municipal and healthcare buildings from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to schedules.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and supervise all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor progress, address challenges, and maintain project timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to plans.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Monitor project costs, track expenses, and manage budget allocations.
  • Optimize resource allocation to meet project goals.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise field staff, subcontractors, and labor crews.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Address unforeseen challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Provide regular project updates to management, clients, and other relevant parties.
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective problem-solving.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience overseeing municipal and healthcare projects
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to read construction documents.
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with construction software tools such as Procore, MS Project, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.


Compensation:


  • Base salary range: $90,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Additional benefits include a company truck, a gas card, insurance, a 401k match, and a bonus program based on profitability.
