CPE Engineer – Contract – Englewood CO – $54.00 - $58.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a CPE Engineer in Englewood CO.

Role Description

-Experience working with Cable Modems
-Experience with DOCSIS CPE and PON CPE (ONU)
What you will be doing:
Work with engineering team to review firmware requirements and provide feedback
Participate in weekly bug classification and prioritization
Establish test network environments as documented in test plans
Perform system-wide end-to-end integration and regression testing
Document results and review with designated teams or vendors as needed.
Work with vendor and other stakeholders to resolve issues discovered during testing; develop and document workarounds where possible, and assist operations team with implementation and escalations as needed
Participate in Operational handoff review activities
Accomplish the above tasks within allotted project timelines
