Electrical Facilities Supervisor – Permanant – Siler City, NC – $100,000 - $ 110,000

Our client is seeking an Electrical Facilities Supervisor in Siler City, NC.

Role Description

• Leads a team of electrical technicians and/or electricians charged with maintaining critical electrical systems on the site.
• Manages the team to develop & hit key metrics to measure & improve performance.
• Drives a culture of safety and quality.
• Support and influence 5S methodology, ensuring the workplace is clean, uncluttered, safe and well organized to reduce waste and optimize productivity.
• Partners with Operations and Engineering to identify, coordinate, and execute planned and unplanned maintenance across site.
• Plays a key role in the installation and commissioning of assigned systems.
• Develop procedures for maintenance, modification, and repair of electrical systems and components.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and practices.

Skills & Requirements

• Current state electrical license/ certification and a Highschool degree, GED, or equivalent
• 5+ years of applicable experience directly managing / supervising a team of skilled electrical technicians / electricians in an industrial setting.
• An extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems and advance troubleshooting capability
• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers & vendors in support of electrical systems maintenance and repairs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and design documents, which includes maintaining instrument as-built documentation
• Proficiency with computers and software to include Microsoft Office suite of products, SCADA, and CMMS applications.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, at heights and confined spaces, around machinery and moving parts
• Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, includes standing or walking over hard concrete surface, and climbing ladders.
