The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Project Manager 3 in Remote opportunity.

Role description

• Risk and issue management, communications and stakeholder management
• Responsible for timelines and deliverables that match project objectives
• Recommend course of action regarding project issues/concerns, implement mitigation plans, then escalate risks and issues to senior IT management as necessary
• Work with financial stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within financial and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with project team to ensure timely delivery and quality of all project deliverables
• Exercise scope change control
• Comply with Quintiles IT Project Management Methodology (ITPMM)
• Coordinate with teams to disseminate upcoming task assignments and to provide task status.
• Update project dashboards in MS SharePoint, PowerPoint.
• Track and reconcile schedules.
• Utilize project management tools to keep track of projects and tasks.
• Schedule, coordinate and facilitate meetings.
• Create and manage project timeline based on communicated business priorities.
• Working with Senior Project Manager on several projects which may include those listed above or others.
• Manage time and resources effectively to stick to budgets, including project planning, tracking, and adjusting as needed to stay on track.

Skills & Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be successful meeting targets in a remote working environment
• Experience with SDLC
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Experience / knowledge of networking or a background in IT would be a plus
• Understanding of software integration methods (APIs, XML, JSON) would be a plus
• Understanding of Database technology concepts and technologies (SQL, NoSQL etc.) would be a plus.
