Senior MEP Estimating Role With 100 Year Old Owner Developer GC/CM

Your new company
My client is a Queens, New York based Owner Developer GC/CM thats been in business 100+ years. These projects include distribution centers, large scale retail, and mixed use residential projects ranging from 10MM to over 100MM. They focus on predominantly public core & shell construction work across Long Island and across the 5 boroughs.

Your new role
My client is seeking a Senior MEP Estimator to take the reins over for a lead who is retiring later this year. You will be responsible for providing estimates, budget control, bid coverage, and procurement during the pre-construction and construction phases of a project for fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, and electric trade. The. The ideal candidate should have a complete understanding of the cost of labor, material, equipment, and productivity in the unit costs used at each level of an estimate and should have knowledge of rules and regulations for AHJ.

What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful in this role you should have at least 12+ years’ experience as a MEP Estimator with vast experience across MEP trades, including sprinklers. A bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar field and experience with blue beam and onscreen take-off is preferred. Ability to commute to the Queens, New York daily is a must.
