Our client is seeking a
Lead Technical PM - Android in Remote opportunity.

Role description

• Lead and/or oversee the delivery of projects by collaborating with Android engineering teams, product management and developing detailed project plans from development to deployment
• Facilitate technical meetings; follow technical discussions in order to successfully capture outcomes and see them through to completion
• Track team progress against committed deliverables and work with the team to identify risks, dependencies, and solutions to ensure timely and successful delivery
• Work with the development team to create delivery timelines of feature sets for projects, and partner across various tracks and business leaders to sequence the work based on priorities
• Collaborate with other TPMs to understand cross-team dependencies, prioritize the work to avoid impediments, identify single points of failure for discussion and decision
• Attend project meetings and communicate program progress against defined milestones and delivery risks to various levels of executive leadership.
• Ensure transparency of progress and issues/risks. Proactively drive risk mitigation and contingency planning, along with issue resolution
• Track and report key program metrics, informing stakeholders as appropriate
• Ruthless prioritization and ability to handle multiple team requests and balance that against competing priorities and committed work
• Independently manage activities and resolve conflict within associated teams, with minimal influence from management
• Effortlessly sift through “noise” and facilitate discussions and activities with a laser focus towards results

Skills & Requirements

• 5 Years experience managing large-scale, strategic, software development programs in an enterprise global technology organization
• Experience as a Scrum Master, or strong Agile project management (Planning sprints, sprint structure, work in JIRA, etc)
• Technical aptitude around Android development life cycle (mobile app submissions, releases, APKs)
• Experience in leading teams through improvement through process re-engineering
• Creative, contagious personality - proactive desire to strive for personal best alongside advocating for continual improvement, empowerment, and growing transparency in an ambiguous environment
• Tools expert including Atlassian Suite and desktop tools: Airtable, Google suite
• Ability to code in GitHub
• Familiarity with Slack.
