BI Director – Permanent – Atlanta, GA\ Hybrid – $150,000 - $170,000.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a BI Director in Atlanta, GA\ Hybrid.

Role Description

• Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive BI roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
o Staff and lead a team
• Strategic Planning :
o Collaborate with division leaders to align project objectives.
o Manage projects throughout the entire SDLC ensuring accuracy
• Team Building:
o Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing BI team.
• Solution Architecture:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement robust BI solutions.
• BI:
o Develop and implement a plan to help build BI initiatvies in collaboration with other parts of the organization
• Data Governance:
o Establish best practices for data quality, security, and compliance.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Lead the design and deployment of effective data visualization
o Ensure the team has the necessary tools, training and understanding to produce accurate dashboards; reports; and metrics,
• Stakeholder Engagement:
o Partner with business units to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Technology Evaluation:
o Stay abreast of BI trends and evaluate tools and platforms

Skills & Requirements

• Leadership : Proven and demonstrated experience leading a team (Really needs to be at the Director level)
• 50/50 hands on versus leadership : OK with being hands on and continuing to grow with the team

• Data Quality
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in BI, and at least 2-3 years in a leadership position)
• Education: Bachelors is required (Masters is preferred)
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and data warehousing concepts.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to translate business needs into BI strategies.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Innovation Mindset: Passion for exploring new technologies and methodologies.
• Skills and Competencies:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Proficiency in BI tools and technologies (SQL; Tableau, SSIS).
o Understanding of data warehousing and database management.
o Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
o Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
