Workday Project Manager – Contract – Miami, FL/ Hybrid – $55.00 - $60.00/hr.



The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Workday Project Manager in Miami, FL/ Hybrid .

Role description

• Project Planning: Making plans, timelines, and organizing resources to make sure the Workday Recruiting project goes well.
• Stakeholder Management: Working with important people like HR and business Leaders to understand what they need, keep them updated, and make sure everyone's happy with the project.
• Requirement Gathering: Talking with stakeholders to figure out what the business needs are and how to make the Workday Recruiting system fit those needs.
• Configuration and Customization: Adjusting the Workday Recruiting system to match Lennars business processes.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Checking that the system works correctly and meets all the requirements, including getting users to test it out.
• Training and Change Management: Teaching users how to use the Workday Recruiting system and helping them adjust to any changes it brings.
• Issue Resolution: Fixing any problems that pop up during the project, like discrepancies or things not working as expected.
• Project Governance: Making sure the project follows the rules and stays on track by holding regular meetings, reporting progress, and dealing with any big issues.
• Vendor Management: Working with outside partners or consultants, to make sure the project stays on target and meets its goals.
• Post-Implementation Support: Helping out after the Workday Recruiting system is up and running to answer questions, making improvements, and keeping things updated.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s preferred
• 7+ years of Workday experience in various technical environments
• Possess strong proficiency with full cycle implementation of Workday
• Possess experience developing the strategy, planning, and scheduling components of Human Capital Management (HCM) and Recruit modules
• Possess full life cycle experience with Workday including Project Management, Test Manager, working through Analysis, Design, Build, Test, and Implementation methodology efforts
• Possess experience managing project risk, status and resolution
• Possess change management readiness and execution, along with training strategy
• Certifications strongly preferred: Workday Human Resource Certified, Project Management Certified.
