End User Computing Desktop Services – Imager – Contract – Burbank, CA – $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking an End User Computing Desktop Services – Imager in Burbank, CA.

Role Description

The Windows EUC Imager Tech will be a member of the onsite EUC support team, with their prime responsibility supporting the imaging tasks for Windows desktop, laptop and mobile computing devices for Disney End Users and Cast Members.
This will include provisioning of: New Hire / Break Fix / Upgrade / Refresh of desktop, laptop, and MAC equipment. Includes device refresh, peripheral refresh, data transfer, install of additional applications when required. May include installation of external peripherals. This person will be responsible for Post Validation checks.

Where there is a need, this engineer may be asked to provide support to colleagues who supports Mac devices and other onsite services; such as deployments, equipment pick-ups, move support, and other projects

Skills & Requirements

Essential skills:
- Attention to detail ( Asset information must be accurate)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Configuring and troubleshooting different levels of Windows OS (Win 7 & Win 10)

Basic skills:
- Basic and advanced troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Service delivery tool experience (ServiceNow experience a plus)
- Ticket management. Accept, manage, update, and close out tickets within guidelines
- Driving to various Disney locations (mileage expenses are reimbursable, approx. 50% of time spent traveling and supporting EUs)
- Install and update operating systems and applications as required
- Assist level 1 and level 2 engineers troubleshooting issues
- Creation and maintenance of work instructions to be used by peers
- Plus Knowledge articles to be handed to other
colleagues, such as Service Desk
- Provide support functions for assigned projects requiring the level 2/3 engineer expertise
- Restoration of files and operating systems
- Be flexible, work as a team, be ready to work on all onsite services and projects

Required qualifications:
- 2-4 yrs of experience with IT
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- 2-4 yrs of data migration experience with desktops, laptops and Mac hardware
- 1-2 yrs Prior experience and working knowledge of SCCM
- Experience with Network configurations and devices
- 2-4 yrs. Experience utilizing the Microsoft Toolset for Imaging and staging
- 1-2 yrs. Ability to wipe and clean hard drives
- 2-4 yrs Experience and working knowledge of USMT for data transfers

Desired qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and secure LDAP
- Working knowledge of MS ADFS * Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Very strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and higher
- Experience with VPN/Wifi/IP/DNS, networking and other enterprise network technologies
- Working knowledge of CrowdStrike security platforms
- Experience with Bitlocker disk encryption
- Tech Certifications (A+, Hardware, Microsoft certifications a plus)
