Our client is seeking a Scrum Master in Orlando, FL / Hybrid.

Role description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and coach a Scrum team dedicated to building innovative data assets. The ideal candidate will facilitate our team’s Agile journey, ensuring that Scrum ceremonies are effectively conducted and that the team adheres to Agile practices to achieve high performance and deliver value continuously.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies - including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring full team engagement.
• Ensure adherence to Agile practices - by guiding the team on the principles of Scrum and Kanban, and by helping to create an environment conducive to team self-organization.
• Remove roadblocks - by identifying and addressing barriers to progress, facilitating discussions, and promoting problem-solving and collaboration.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment - by supporting a culture of openness, courage, and respect.
• Coach team members - on Scrum, Agile methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.
• Serve as a liaison - between studio teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.
• Support product backlog management - with the Product Manager, helping to ensure that it is well-defined and prioritized.
• Facilitate effective conflict resolution - within the team and with stakeholders.
• Promote a learning culture - within the team, encouraging professional growth and knowledge sharing on Agile, data technologies, and industry trends.

Skills & Requirements

· 3-5 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
· Experience in a Data Platform environment vs a Software Development environment or just someone who has a Data background etc. Needs
to have a functional understanding of the Data environment
· Looking for someone with Maturity level.. Leading Scrum meetings vs participating
· Needs Agile tools such as Jira
· Strong Communication- Ability to communicate and report back to Executives regarding the Business Value of the Data
Pluses:
· Specific Data Platform experience like AWS, Google, Azure, DBT, GCP, Azure/AWS (more cloud platforms)
· Scrum Certification would be a preferred but not required.
