The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Sr Project Manager SDLC in Orlando, FL / Burbank, CA/ Hybrid.

Role Description

• Actively leads team and project planning and overall strategy, to include resource needs identification and forecasting
• Actively leads in establishing and tracking progress to key performance indicators
• Actively leads in monitoring and evaluating overall project health and status; analyzes data and produces actionable insights
• Actively leads in identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions
• Responsible for inputs into the Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions (RAID) log pertaining to the S/4H Tech Conversion project; work resolution of items; work with project management team
• Proactively identifies issues and actively leads and/or contributes options to resolve
• Identifies and actively leads and/or contributes in the resolution of issues and conflicts
• Actively leads the management of escalations to leadership and to vendors as appropriate to drive results
• Continually apprises leadership and relevant business stakeholders of status and anything not on track
• Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, solution architects, and delivery managers
• Builds strong relationships with and partners with large and diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise
• Accountable for driving execution and delivery of projects or support programs from start to finish
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the project/program’s vision, objectives, scale and scope of work, expected outcomes, business value and impact, timelines, roadmaps, resource level requirements
• Establishes strong partnerships and engagement with project stakeholders
• Manages full-scale master project schedules and communication plans consisting of multiple teams or components
• Develops and supports governance practices and protocols to control and monitor the program/projects
• Ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones, and deliverable tasks
• Actively leads project financial forecasts including resource plans and other expense plans
• Actively leads the process and practice improvements in the project management environment and serves as a catalyst for project management excellence
• Establishes strong partnerships and engagement with project stakeholders
• Identifies gaps in the project team’s accountability and ownership of deliverables
• Foster a team environment of self-organization, retrospect to learn and adapt with the goal of delivering the highest value to our guests and cast
Objectives:
• Participates in project planning and overall strategy, to include resource needs identification and forecasting

• As directed, participate in testing activities and support the business
• Supports project delivery activities
• Involved in strategic planning; partnering with business stakeholders for prioritization, ensures proper setup for projects and sustainment efforts
• Manages escalations to leadership and to vendors as appropriate to drive results
• Continually apprises leadership and relevant business stakeholders of status and anything not on track
• Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, solution architects, and delivery managers
• Builds strong relationships with and partners with large and diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise

Skills & Requirements

• 10-15yrs experience as a Project Manager working on SAP Project implementation management w/a preference to Success Factors if possible.
• Ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
• Exemplary communications skills
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Innovative thinking and embraces innovation by constantly seeking new or contrary ideas and approaches to what has been done in the past.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish and manage effective working relationships in a matrixed organizational structure
• Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate well to both technical and business audiences.
• Results oriented, biased toward action
• Works independently, receives minimal guidance
• Keeps fluent in new technologies and successful sharing with peers and introducing new technologies
• Demonstrates stamina, resilience and perseverance under trying circumstances
• Experience in leading technology projects or multi-threaded efforts
• Ability to lead project meetings and workshops driving commitments, accountability, and deliverables
• End-user experience in the use of modern program and project management tools, such as ServiceNow, PPM, Clarity, Smartsheet, MS Project Online, etc.
