Architect required by a growing mid-size Architectural practice firm based in San Francisco, California

Our partnership client is a growing, innovative mid-size Architectural firm headquartered out of Anchorage with 6 other offices across the United States including San Francisco, California. As well as their Architectural services, in recent years they have expanded their scope to offer interior design and branding services to their clients. In alignment with this growth and their values, to offer their clients a robust and proactive service, an exciting opportunity has opened up for a mid-level Architect to join the team in San Francisco, California.

Your new role

As the successful Architect, you will join a collaborative and creative team, and you will have the opportunity to w ork independently on a diverse portfolio of architectural design projects across multiple building types. You will coordinate project design efforts including developing creative design concepts, presentations, design drawings and details for a wide variety of clients across multiple construction sectors. You will prepare presentation documents for the client to review, and you will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external experts to ensure the designs and contract documents are compliant to construction code standards. Key attributes for this role include organization, prioritization, top-notch communication skills and having a passion for architecture to support a diverse portfolio of projects.

What you'll need to succeed

A Degree or Masters in Architecture from a reputable University and 5 - 8 years post-graduate progressive experience in the field of architecture, including substantial experience in developing details, planning and design support for design development. You must demonstrate knowledge and experience of building systems, detailing and technology, applicable codes, regulations, standard design solution development, differing building types and project delivery methods. You must enjoy working in a high-pressure environment, reorganizing your day around key priorities, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy engaging at all levels, from Executive leaders to skilled drafters.
