This Maryland-based General Contractor works on projects across the USA, focusing on hotel remodels and renovations. They work with independent owners as well as well-known international chain brands.

Your new role

As a traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for working on hotel projects across the USA and ensuring the site is running smoothly throughout the project life cycle with the following responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating all on-site construction activities
• Maintaining the project scheduling, determining the sequence of work and coordinating subcontractors to follow the sequence within specified schedule durations
• Managing job site safety, ensuring safe work practices and addressing any safety issues immediately - in line with OSHA and other regulations/guidelines
• Maintaining a high level of quality to meet specifications and owner expectations
• Understanding project job costs and working with the project team to ensure budgets are adhered to
• Providing complete and timely reports
• Managing all construction documentation related to the project
• Maintaining positive communication and relationships with all parties and stakeholders for the project

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a Superintendent position working on Hotel projects - either in new construction, additions or remodel/renovation
• Ability to travel to projects across the US
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of building construction including MEP
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR
• Use of MS Office and construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam P6, etc.
